Our Story

Charlotte Davitt-Mills and her husband purchased the 4 acre vineyard in 2017 after falling in love with the beautiful setting and views. They now manage 16 acres of planted English vines in neighbouring vineyards and have since established Shotley Vineyard, launching their first vintage in June 2020

Beautifully situated overlooking both the Orwell and Stour estuaries, is an exciting venue for tourists, walkers and families. Take a tour around the vineyard, taste the wines, or even hold your wedding or function here, against the backdrop of the Suffolk Coast & Heaths and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Charlotte is the general manager and works in the vineyard every day with support from family and friends, Charlotte also manages our events and wine sales.
